There’s a variety of external storage that’s both available and compatible with WordPress. This helps to free up personal desktop space and provide a handy backup location in case unforeseen consequences happen for your website. With these dedicated spaces it gives a sense of professionalism for storing only what is necessary to the website and the aforementioned backup plan for crashes and revisions. Google Drive
Google Drive34 is Google’s cloud storage solution, providing handy user storage while being fully integrated with the company’s tech ecosystem. This full suite of additional features allows it to go toe-to-toe with other major competitors like Microsoft’s Office 365 suite.

- Less flexible than other solutions due to pricing based on picked services
- Always-online requirement makes storage a hassle with potential internet outages
